GAD presented a $1,000 donation cheque to St. Paul’s on-the-Hill Community Food Bank

On Thursday May 28, 2020 the GAD presented a $1,000 cheque to Margaret Jocz, the operator of the St. Paul’s on-the-Hill Community Food Bank located in Pickering. St. Paul’s on-the-Hill Community Food Bank was established in 1990 as a temporary outreach to serve members of the St Paul’s on-the-Hill Anglican church, Pickering. Since then, the food bank has outgrown many locations and is now located at the Parkway Storage on Pickering Parkway in Pickering, ON. The food bank is run by Margaret and her staff of volunteers. All funds received is used to support the food bank’s operations. They are generously supported by individuals, businesses, and organizations. It’s currently serving the Pickering and Ajax community Tuesday and Friday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
